Summer Easy

As I was Skyping with my sister yesterday, I noticed her super cute dress, which was just a short sleeve navy cotton dress belted at the waist with a chic dark brown belt. When I told her how cute she looked, she told me that she felt like wearing something easy to get in and out of and comfortable. Well, she not only had that, but she looked really good too. It got me thinking how perfect some summer dresses are for comfort, yet many of them still have you looking chic and put together. This too got me thinking that whether you are going somewhere with the kids (park, zoo, museum etc.), running errands, have a lunch date, or even work at home as my sister does, a summer dress is just the thing to wear in aiding you with some style and comfort. Take a look at some dresses from Forever21 and Layne Bryant to give you ideas for an easy, breezy fit, yet stylish as well. Even if you are not doing much, or just going somewhere with the kids, why not still feel cute?

Picks of the week.

Here are some styles that caught my eye this week and work for great weekend attires. Happy weekend to you!

Cameron always has such a chic style with a relaxed look, which I love to draw inspiration from being that most places I go are with my kids!

The short blazer, the scarf, the cute jeans....looking classy for where ever your weekend may take you.

Can she pull off these thigh-highs or what? Love that outfit...especially on her!

Since I did a post on ankle bitters (ankle boots) this week, thought I would post this great dress worn with a fabulous pair.

Picks of the week.

OK, I love, love, LOVE this outfit. It has a laid back look but still holds a nice classy, chic look! The skirt may be a little short but that is totally preference, and will still look good if you have one just a little bit longer in length (if preferred). Still, you can pair the button up shirt with dress shorts, jeans, pants, leggins and so on to get a similar look in which you might be more comfortable. However, I say that you set a date night (yes, get a babysitter if needed) and show your honey some extra leg....I'm thinking he will like it!

Also can't help but love:

The red, the coat, the heels...love!

For some reason really likin' the balloon skirt with the jacket

Like the street style with the scarf
