Give yourself a break.

Sometimes as a mom it can be hard to find the time, and motivation, to get yourself all "dolled up" when leaving the house with kids to run errands, meet up with friends, or just plain get out of the house. It's OK! We can put pressure on ourselves to feeling like we have to look top notch when stepping out, and sometimes I think we just have to learn that it really is OK to not dress to the 9's every time we leave the house. I posted some pictures of celeb moms who are in the spotlight quite a bit and have seemed to have found that "mommy hood" does not always allow the time for some extra TLC with our hair, make up, and clothes. They still look good,of course, just not as glamed up. Sometimes that is just the reality when you have a screaming little one hanging on your legs while trying to apply your blush! So give yourself a break, and know that time taken from you to get ready, is time well spent with your little ones!

Don't forget...... have those "glam moments" though, they do wonders for your mood, self image, and even your attitude towards all that comes with being a mommy!

Need something easy for Monday morning...or just easy in general?

The side pony....one of my favorites and so easy, yet so pretty! Even if you don't have time to smooth it out, scrunch it with some hair spray, or just go through and curl a couple of sections for some extra texture. You can also twist the pony tail around and then wind it up and pin it with a couple of pins. This works with any low pony tail!

LOVE.

Very cute with a bang too.

Just by adding a little more to your hair tie, you instantly dress up a simple, easy hair style. This is great for getting your self ready when you have kids (and want to feel "put together"), or those early mornings heading into work.

For those who have less to work with.......

Even though these lovelies have short styles, they certainly have no limitations. Dramatic sweep overs, head bands, a layer of shorter bangs, twists through a couple sections in the top, pulling one side back more, bed head, extra sleek and smooth and so on, short hair still has many quick and easy tricks to switching up the style and creating a different look.

Make a Statment with your Necklace.

Necklaces can always add some extra style to your outfit, though sometimes less is more. This season however, more seems to be what's in. If you are not the type to go too bold with the jewelry, there are still some great necklaces that you can wear which are simple yet still attract the eye. The great thing about necklaces is that they are great with many styles, and they can often "dress up" casual wear. So, if your lifestyle consists of more casual outfits right now, put on a great necklace and be on your way....in style!
