Dangle.

It's amazing how our accessories can often add the perfect finishing touch to our styles, that along with out lipstick and gloss. Sometimes it's fun to make a statement with them, and sometimes less can be more. Either way, I am one that loves to let things dangle off of my neck, ears and wrists! While I recommend investing in good jewelry, really it is worth it, I also know that it can be pricey, so remember that you can always pick up some fun accessories at Forever 21, T.J Max, Ross, Charlotte Russ, Express etc. The prices are very affordable.

With that being said, here are just a few pics, ideas, that I posted for you.

Picks of the week.

My pics for this week, are short and sweet. I have posted some pant/leggins outfits to, hopefully, provide you with some re-enforcement that you can look just as hot in some smokin' pants or leggins when paired with just the right top! If you feel more comfortable and as though your figure might look more flattered when wearing some dress pants, then go with that green light. It seems that most of the lovelies I have seen thus far have been in to the all black look when daring to wear some dress pants, or leggins'. If you wish to add some color, remember that you can add that in with your jewelry, hair accessories, and especially make up....have fun with that eye shadow, sport those red lips, or switch up that eye liner!

Lovin' this outfit Rhianna is wearing above.

What a sleek look.

I think the heels some how tie this all in for Anne.

This seriously looks so soft on your skin!

If this is a little much for you, I happen to love it, you can always replace the boots with a great pair of heels, or go with a sleeker more fitted, less going on style of boot.... if preferred.

If any of you have some rockin' Holiday outfits that you are pretty proud of, send me some pics (via my e-mail posted on the side bar) I would love to post them and show off some of my fashionista readers!

Have blessed weekend! Take time to really breath, let the one you love really know it, take a minute to really appreciate your good health, let those things that can cause you some irritation go and enjoy the life you have been given!
Hasta el lunes!!!

Tis The Season...

With Thanksgiving now past, we are officially entering the rush of the Holiday Parties! I thought I would start by posting some nice dress finds to give those of you looking for that perfect party dress some ideas. Don't you just love getting all glamed up that night? I know I always have! These postings are dresses today, though a dress is definitely not the only way to go with Holiday attire, as you will see in some more of my up coming posts. I am also on the look out for great clutches, heels, jewelry and beauty tips, to help give you any advice and inspiration I can, in order to aid in you looking and feeling absolutely fabulous this Holiday Season.

Here are some lovelies, who are wearing some great dresses that not only work for a Holiday party, but can also be worn again for different events and occasions. Point being that the dress will not sit on the hanger after that one night=getting your money's worth!

Picks of the week.

I thought I would post my 'picks of the week' with all men this week. Who doesn't love their man with a good sense of style? Here are some pics of stylin' men that usually step out looking well put together and showing a style of their own.

First things first...who doesn't love a man in uniform? Congrats Yankees!

Laid back, yet dressed to impress.

I always love the white shirt and jeans in general, but even more on men.

Ne-Yo always has a great style of his own, and he always looks so polished.

Like the longer coat with the casual wear.

A style that never seems to look bad.

I love when a man sports some jewelry.

Happy weekend to you all! May you all go for those things that you want. For you are never given a dream with out also being given evrything you need to have that dream realized.

Until Then.......

Work with what you got.

While we would all love to go on weekly (even monthly!) shopping sprees and constantly have new outfits and new looks, the reality of settling for what we have in our closet right now is true to many of us. However, there are many pieces sitting in those closets, and jewelry boxes, that can be paired with other pieces you have hanging around to create some "new" looks and outfits for you. Here are some pics I found to aid in inspiring you to get creative with what you currently have in your closet.

Jackets are great with jeans right now, and any cute top you might have when worn under your jacket or vest looks great. It doesn't have to be a fur vest but, as I read on the blog of BR Magazine, you can always go to a thrift store or vintage store and look for some type of fur vest or scarf there...throwing on a scarf will insantly add to your look as well.

These are all pretty standard pieces that most of us can find in our wardrobe. Simply roll those jeans up a little, pull out that over sized sweater, or go buy an inexpensive pair of leggins'...they can be paired with so much and they always look great with many different styles of boots too.

Remember that adding a bold necklace to a simple tank or tee or turtle neck, will always give some extra style to the outfit.

Pull out one of those dresses from last season...or longer...and throw on some kickin' boots with a great necklace and those hot glasses, and no one will guess that the entire outfit is not something recently purchased. The short trench coats are great and go with just about everything. Definitely worth investing in one....works season after season and never dissapoints!

Style DO for 30's.

I think most of us who are approaching our thirties,or have reached them already, have gone through that question in our head of "am I really dressing for my age?", or "am I dressing too young for my age?". It is a hard time in the fashion world because you want to feel stylish and look good, yet, you don't want to feel like you're trying too hard to have a certain style and look. I know that having kids has made this dilemma even more challenging for me. I want to look like a cute, stylish mom with out looking like I am shopping in the Jr.'s department. So, here is a DO for when you are rummaging through your closet for something stylish to wear. Remember that this is just suggestion, as you should always wear what fits and flatters your figure and also what you are comfortable in. The more comfortable you are with what you are wearing, the more confident you will feel=the more style you will exude.

*Reverse the proportions: If you are wearing a tighter, more fitting pair of jeans, then wear a looser top such as a cute button up, a blouse or even a knit shirt un tucked. Blazers always look good with this fit too. The same goes the other way, if you are wearing a looser fit jean, usually with a wider leg, then go with a more fitted shirt. These proportions will balance your shape.

* Kick up your look by wearing some brighter colors with your blouses and then adding pretty jewelry! Also, add some extra jewelry when even wearing t-shirt and jeans. You'll be surprised with the extra style you'll feel when adding it to your casual look.

Here are some styles of flaterring jeans for you to see and, hopefully, help with some ideas when shopping for those figure flattering jeans.....
