Mama a la mode.

Once we enter the wonderful world of mommy hood it seems as though we strive for a keen sense of style even more so. It's good to feel good about yourself, especially after carrying that bundle of joy, in your ever growing belly, for 9 months!! Here are some style tips that are helpful in staying a mama a la mode!

Wear a good bra to keep your clothes looking and fitting nice.

Scarves are great for added style and covering any extra baby belly.

Blazers not only look nice but they also allow for some comfort when wearing a top you're not fully comfortable wearing by itself....yet!

A great necklace always dresses up a more casual outfit.

Maybe opt for a lower heel if you want a heel but can't chase after the little ones in a 3".

A higher waist jean is not only more flattering but more realistic for all the bending over you do with those little guys!

Here are some cute shorter haircuts, with different styles. Whether short or long bangs, wavy and curly, or a short, short cut, these are all beautiful cuts with some sass to them=one hot mama! Why not carry a cute diaper bag? One thing that worked for me was to carry a small purse or clutch that fits into the diaper bag, so when you are at a quick stop errand and don't need the the whole bag, you can pull out your cute clutch.

I think most of us who are approaching our thirties,or have reached them already, have gone through that question in our head of "am I really dressing for my age?", or "am I dressing too young for my age?". It is a hard time in the fashion world because you want to feel stylish and look good, yet, you don't want to feel like you're trying too hard to have a certain style and look. I know that having kids has made this dilemma even more challenging for me. I want to look like a cute, stylish mom with out looking like I am shopping in the Jr.'s department. So, here is a DO for when you are rummaging through your closet for something stylish to wear. Remember that this is just suggestion, as you should always wear what fits and flatters your figure and also what you are comfortable in. The more comfortable you are with what you are wearing, the more confident you will feel=the more style you will exude.

*Reverse the proportions: If you are wearing a tighter, more fitting pair of jeans, then wear a looser top such as a cute button up, a blouse or even a knit shirt un tucked. Blazers always look good with this fit too. The same goes the other way, if you are wearing a looser fit jean, usually with a wider leg, then go with a more fitted shirt. These proportions will balance your shape.

* Kick up your look by wearing some brighter colors with your blouses and then adding pretty jewelry! Also, add some extra jewelry when even wearing t-shirt and jeans. You'll be surprised with the extra style you'll feel when adding it to your casual look.

Picks of the week.

OK, so first of all, I had to post this dress that I saw and share it with you all because I love it and want it! The rest of my pics for the week are all great looks with the blazer. I love how you can wear the blazer with jeans (which looks so good) for a more dressy-casual look. Of course, a blazer always looks good with some cute dress pants or skirts as well, giving you some extra class. Check these out.

OK, this isn't a blazer but still loved this light suede jacket.

Ralph Lauren Blazers.

I am really liking the Blazers that Ralph Lauren has come out with this fall. You can pair them with jeans, skirts,dresses, dress pants and more, and create a dressy or a casual look. The blazer is a great item to have to switch your style up some. While these can get a little pricey, you can definitely find some look-a-likes for a much lower price but still sport the same great style. Check these out.
