Picks of the week.

I always like to throw some different styles in for my pics of the week. That's probably because that's more my personality. I like to switch it up quite a bit...dress to impress, simple dresses, boots (all styles..mostly), jackets, be down right comfy and I actually like a sporty style too! Here are some styles that I like for different reasons, and as usual, hope that these can give you some inspiration when going through your closets...or shopping! May all of you style lovelies have a beautiful weekend!

OK, I am liking these jeans that Kim K. has on, and can't help but love the jacket too.

Amerie did it again for me....love this dress, and tan heels too!

Do you see those tights?!

I am into the bomber/biker jackets and I like this casual look with it. Adds just enough to this simple style. * Something to remember: It's always fun to play your make-up, up, when wearing a simple look;)

I am one to usually opt for heels, but Gwyneth shows us that some cute flat boots still give some style (comfort too!) when in mommy mode.

This pic is obviously more about the purse than the outfit, and just wanted to show that a great tote is always needed no matter what the outfit....just makes everything better!!

I not only like the blazer with the skinny jeans that Gabrielle is sportin' , but also like the ruffles peeking out...makes it extra feminine.

I like this just for Keri's shirt...love the sleeves and the color.

Like the thigh-highs on Hayden, and the coat too.

Eva is another who's style never seems to disappoint me.

Something to ponder on this weekend: If you were at a point were you have reached your FULL potential, where do you feel you would be right now?

Until Monday.....

Picks of the week.

Friday is once again here, and will go and come again before we know it. Here are my weekly pics of some outfits that have caught my eye, and are right up my road of style! Hope some of you can draw some kind of inspiration and ideas from these fabulous styles. May you look good for where ever you weekend is taking you!!

The ankle boots, leggins' and biker jacket! Nia pulls this look off with class. I have always thought that she is so beautiful.

I definitely like to wear a vest during fall, and this is one I wouldn't mind putting on.

Amerie just pulls this off....love it. It's different and that's why I like it.

Matching hoodies! Actually I am one for a great hoodie, and I kind of like this whole "unpolished" look on Anne Hathaway. Don't always see her in something like this, yet she looks good.

I always like to have some classy, comfortable, casual looks included, especially for those who are not only toting around a great bag, but their kids as well. It's not always realistic to be wearing your best heels when out with the kids. So here are some looks that are great for that...not that you have to have kids to dress more casual. Sometimes you just got to throw on something more relaxed, and throw that hair up in a ponytail!

A little something to take with you this weekend....

Picks of the week.

I thought I would post my 'picks of the week' with all men this week. Who doesn't love their man with a good sense of style? Here are some pics of stylin' men that usually step out looking well put together and showing a style of their own.

First things first...who doesn't love a man in uniform? Congrats Yankees!

Laid back, yet dressed to impress.

I always love the white shirt and jeans in general, but even more on men.

Ne-Yo always has a great style of his own, and he always looks so polished.

Like the longer coat with the casual wear.

A style that never seems to look bad.

I love when a man sports some jewelry.

Happy weekend to you all! May you all go for those things that you want. For you are never given a dream with out also being given evrything you need to have that dream realized.

Until Then.......

Love the look.

So here are some styles that caught my eye, for one thing or another, and I thought I would share this inspiration with you all! I always like to disect an outfit and take a certain "look" or "piece" from it and add it to my own style. Check these out and see if you take anything from them too!

OK, first of all, LOVE the boots! I also really like the contrast in colors and, as I posted before, brown on black is really in right now. And, if I don't say so myself....I am diggin' it!

Always love the t-shirt and jeans, and I also like the all black with some stand-out jewelry. Great casual look.

So, being that it is fall and the weather is cooler in most places right now, I would probably replace the sandals with some closed toed or even peek-a-boo toed heels,or some cute ankle or knee high boots. Really like the scarf with the outfit too and, again, can't go wrong with a scarf for some extra style.

Love the black tights, ankle strap heel, and.....everything. Such an easy look to get, and can wear this anywhere.

Style DO for 30's.

I think most of us who are approaching our thirties,or have reached them already, have gone through that question in our head of "am I really dressing for my age?", or "am I dressing too young for my age?". It is a hard time in the fashion world because you want to feel stylish and look good, yet, you don't want to feel like you're trying too hard to have a certain style and look. I know that having kids has made this dilemma even more challenging for me. I want to look like a cute, stylish mom with out looking like I am shopping in the Jr.'s department. So, here is a DO for when you are rummaging through your closet for something stylish to wear. Remember that this is just suggestion, as you should always wear what fits and flatters your figure and also what you are comfortable in. The more comfortable you are with what you are wearing, the more confident you will feel=the more style you will exude.

*Reverse the proportions: If you are wearing a tighter, more fitting pair of jeans, then wear a looser top such as a cute button up, a blouse or even a knit shirt un tucked. Blazers always look good with this fit too. The same goes the other way, if you are wearing a looser fit jean, usually with a wider leg, then go with a more fitted shirt. These proportions will balance your shape.

* Kick up your look by wearing some brighter colors with your blouses and then adding pretty jewelry! Also, add some extra jewelry when even wearing t-shirt and jeans. You'll be surprised with the extra style you'll feel when adding it to your casual look.

Here are some styles of flaterring jeans for you to see and, hopefully, help with some ideas when shopping for those figure flattering jeans.....

Seven's Trouser fit: no price listed but great style to see for some ideas

Picks of the week.

OK, so first of all, I had to post this dress that I saw and share it with you all because I love it and want it! The rest of my pics for the week are all great looks with the blazer. I love how you can wear the blazer with jeans (which looks so good) for a more dressy-casual look. Of course, a blazer always looks good with some cute dress pants or skirts as well, giving you some extra class. Check these out.

OK, this isn't a blazer but still loved this light suede jacket.

Some extra edge with the torn jeans.

Really like the white blazer with jeans, and the black heels.

Can't go wrong with this look.

Nice clean and dressy, yet comfortable, and also like the extra color with the blouse.

Couldn't help but notice all the tights around....

Like the red.

Really like the black tights with the nude dress....different.

Love the pattern of the tights and ooh, love those heels too !

Head to Toe.

LOVE this dress, diggin' the belt, and want those boots.

As I posted before, grey is definitely one of the colors to wear right now and it seems like I have seen a lot of this color worn to create a monotone look. It has really been sported as a head to toe look, and I have to say that I am liking it. Even if the shades differ a little, making the shoes grey as well help tie this "one color" theme together. Check out some more of this look and see what you think.

Seriously want the boots in this pic.

Some great wears to help create this solid look......

It doesn't just have to be grey when going monotone...

love this

can never go wrong with all black
