From Moving on Up to Moving on.

So, I know it's literally been about a year now since my last entry and I sincerely apologize to my readers. I lost my mojo for my blog once we were with out internet for 2 months, after moving to a more remote location in here in Panama. I am LOVING it over here, by the way. We are just over the Bridge of the America's so we are right there to get into the city. It is such a more calm and beautiful area. Anyway, here are just a few reasons that I got side tracked, lost some momentum and negelected my blog this last year:

*Had to wait for the cable service to show up to install internet....two weeks ended up being two months. (not uncommon out here at all either)

* Both of my kids started school..Kindergarden and Pre-K 3...sniff, sniff.

* I was running a small baking business out of my home, and went from baking two days a week to all 5 days (in the work week).

* My brother and his partner came to visit us....soooo fun!

* Got a severe case of food posioning...yuck.

* Found out I was pregnant with our 3rd hijo...praise the Lord...due in three weeks!
*Went on a vacation home to Colorado for 6 weeks.
* Holiday season sets in and well, we all know how that goes.
There are some more "life's happpenings" in there but had to at least name a few of them to redeem myself.
I am finally ready to get back in to blogging (kind of funny that I choose now, when I am due with my 3rd in few weeks) however, I have started a new blog COFFE, MILK & BROWNSUGAR http://coffeemilkandbrownsugar.blogspot.com/ and will no longer be posting on Thirty Something Style. While I still love my fashion and style, my writing and sharing is going in a different direction. While being here in Panama I can not tell you all how many natural remedies I have come across for the healing and wellness of your body. I have learned to use LOTS of things around the house in order to do my daily excersise (don't belong to a gym, and left so many of my things I used back in Colordao) and I have learned to make a happy situation in your home when in a major transition (not easy at all, but doable...with the Lord's help of course;). I want to share, help, encourage and inspire others through my continual findings and enlightments with "life's happenings".
So, you can now check me out at my new location. Just some of my postings will include remedies that you can use to get well, to take care of you body, for your skin care, to cure sore throats, to aid with cuts, along with workout methods you can do right in your own home (btw, I lost all my weight with my first two pregnancies & intend to do the same with this one). Also there is so much to know about foods to eat for health, weight loss and even to keep your moods up. I will even do some style posts here and there, because as I believe, "when you look good, you feel good"! I believe this new direction in blogging will be much more up my ally so I am making the switch....hopefully you do too, and check up on me there.

Enduldge a little.

So I was reading an article in my Glamour regarding ways to 'flatten your belly fast' and there was some information that I thought was not only interesting, but important to pass on because I know that MANY of us have a hard time with this area. For many of us it is one part of our body that we want to be nice and thin and flat; no love handles, no pooch yet it is really one of the hardest areas to rid some of those unwanted pounds from. While exercise is helpful, and so important for our health in general, eating really is 90% of the battle. Naturally, when we think of eating and trying to loose some weight we gravitate towards everything that is fat free and sugar free. David Heber, M.D., director for the Center for Human Nutrition at he University of California, Los Angeles, is now saying that according to research they have done it "shows that when women go on a virtually nonfat diet, they lose enzymes that help them digest fat". Basically, when you go off all fat, or almost all, when you do have a break down and order that mouth watering burger and fries you'll end up bloated. The best solution is to incorporate a little bit of everything in what we eat....which also means fat. Wohoo! I think we have always wanted to hear that!! There are healthy fats too like avocados, nuts and so on. Not only will the fat ease our digestion but it will help with those cravings we get when we take all of those yummies away. It's a win win; you don't feel so deprived and play those mind games with yourself, and your tummy will be less bloated which has you feeling better in your clothes! So don't beat yourself up if you do endulge a little.

For more information on this and to read about the other 6 ways in aiding a flatter belly you can go to http://www.glamour.com/.

** PuCKer uP: A nude lip is a do this spring season. I like to still use a soft pink color and line my lips, fill them in a bit and then smudge a little with my pinkie. Cover with some lip shine and you have a nice nude lip with just enough color and as my wonderful former boss, Brian at Tribe Hair Salon and Spa, would say "ya have your lips on".

Blessings this Monday!!!

Picks of the week.

My pics for this week, are short and sweet. I have posted some pant/leggins outfits to, hopefully, provide you with some re-enforcement that you can look just as hot in some smokin' pants or leggins when paired with just the right top! If you feel more comfortable and as though your figure might look more flattered when wearing some dress pants, then go with that green light. It seems that most of the lovelies I have seen thus far have been in to the all black look when daring to wear some dress pants, or leggins'. If you wish to add some color, remember that you can add that in with your jewelry, hair accessories, and especially make up....have fun with that eye shadow, sport those red lips, or switch up that eye liner!

Lovin' this outfit Rhianna is wearing above.

What a sleek look.

I think the heels some how tie this all in for Anne.

This seriously looks so soft on your skin!

If this is a little much for you, I happen to love it, you can always replace the boots with a great pair of heels, or go with a sleeker more fitted, less going on style of boot.... if preferred.

If any of you have some rockin' Holiday outfits that you are pretty proud of, send me some pics (via my e-mail posted on the side bar) I would love to post them and show off some of my fashionista readers!

Have blessed weekend! Take time to really breath, let the one you love really know it, take a minute to really appreciate your good health, let those things that can cause you some irritation go and enjoy the life you have been given!
Hasta el lunes!!!
