Every Girl Loves to Play....

...With our make up. Here are 3 simple ideas to give you when thinking about your application this weekend.

*Want some new colors to try together? Recommended by Glamour, try the navy-blue and bronze combo, like Gabrielle Union has on below. What a Fabulous combo too. Most of us that have some big browns know it is no secret that a navy blue is a great color to make those brown eyes pop. This combo will look good on just about anyone though. Dust a shimmery navy color over the eyelid up to the crease. If you're feeling a little daring you can take it up to the brow bone! Personally, I like to go over the outer corner with a little bit of a darker color after applying my shimmer over the lid...up to you...and then you can also go with a navy colored liner on the bottom lash line. Follow with a bronze color over your cheek bones and lip color as well.

*Want to have that fake eye lash look without really having to put them in....yourself??

Try dusting your top lashes with a light weight translucent powder and then applying your mascara with nice SLOW strokes. Do a couple of applications and then take a lash comb to remove any clumps.

*Tired of wearing all that make up, and want a nice natural, yet glowing and 'done' sort of look.?

Go with a nice warm pink for you cheek and lip color. The great thing about a warm pink is that it naturally creates a more balanced look to the eye, which is great for hiding imperfections. Stick to some soft neutrals for you eye color, and if you must wear some liner, go with a soft brown. Clean it up well with a q-tip to blend in more and look extra 'clean'. This is a great soft and pretty look and one that Drew Barrymore is known well for.

Happy weekend lovelies!!!

Blessings!

Pick of the Week.

OK y'all, I LOVE LOVE this mascara. It is a new found love for me, and my new best friend, thanks to my girls that gave it to me when they were here for their visit. Next to them coming to visit, this was the best present they gave me. The thing I like about this mascara is that it lengthens, and volumizes without clumping, flaking or caking on and it doesn't smudge during the day. The even better part? It is under $10.00! That is just the best thing you have ever heard when you're on the one income, got two kids budget like I am. It ranges in prices depending on where you go, but it starts at about $6.99 and goes to about $7.95. You can however find a duo pack at target for 10.99. This comes in the colors of Very Black, Black, Black Brown and Brown. This mascara is also available in waterproof as well.

Want to go BIG?

Try the Cover Girl Lash Blast Luxe. It is still only about $8.50, again differs in price depending where you buy from, but still under $10.00. Haven't tried myself (yet) but the reviews have been great on this one as well.
This comes in the same 4 colors as above.

**Can't find this mascara in your location? Go here mascara-page.blogspot.com to find, and order, not only this mascara but any other mascara you might be trying to purchase.

Well lovelies, weekend is here and so is a little thought to take along with you....

A key to success: Do what you say you're going to do. In other words, keep your word in the small things you say you are going to do (calling someone, keeping plans you've made, going to the gym at the time you told yourself, taking the kids where you said you would etc.) and it will snowball into you keeping your word with the BiGGer things (finishing that business plan, applying for that higher position, doing what it takes to start or expand your business etc.). By following through with the things we say "we are going to do" it naturally gives us the confidence in ourselves that we are capable of doing greater, and we will somehow achieve it BECAUSE we are doing that in every aspect of our lives.

Bendiciones!!!

What are you giving thanks for?

Naturally, on Thanksgiving we tend to ponder on those things which we are thankful for with a little extra thought.I thought I would share 5 things that I am very thankful for with you all.

I am THANKFUL for :

1.) My wonderful husband and father of my kids, who adores us.
2.) The health of my children, along with my own health and my husband's too (all my loved ones too;)
3.) That we have a roof over our heads with warm beds to sleep in every night.
4.) That my kids go to bed with full tummies every night.
5.) That we have clean water to drink on a daily basis.

I thought I would include some things that I am thankful for, pertaining to style and beauty, that I have at the tips of my pretty little fingers every day. Though the list above is of far more importance to me, I am still very thankful to have all of these items.

A fabulous pair of heels, they always end up making the outfit!

My Steve Madden purse...love!

I am glad to have my maxi dress, which is not only stylish but mega comfy too in this HOT weather here in Panama.

Who isn't grateful for a figure flattering pair of jeans, that you love to wear?!!

I always like when people tell me that I smell really good ( I guess who doesn't, right) and that is thanks to my beloved Ralph.

My mascara, lip shine, and blush. Though I do wear more than this, I use these three for sure on a daily basis. If you have never tried the juicy tubes by Lancome....you should!

Happy Thanksgiving All! Most of you are on a long weekend as of now, so enjoy!

Until Monday!!!

Quick start the week.

It seems like Monday mornings can be hit or miss when it comes to feeling quite motivated in getting ourselves ready and out the door. Whether it is heading into work or getting the kids to school, we all have those mornings, especially Mondays, when we just don't feel like taking that extra time to get ready. Well here are some tips for a quick make up application, which in turn will create an instant energy boost (that along with our coffee) to help when a jump start is needed.

Eyes: If you have a tired eye (keeping moisturizer in the fridge can help with this too) you can apply some concealer underneath to aid in brightening them up, and then follow with an illuminating shadow if wanted. Not much is needed, you just want to give some lightness to the area. Use a nice light shadow over the lids and corners, gold-flickered is always pretty. Follow with a darker shade by applying slightly upwards in the outer corners. Put on some mascara and the eyes have life!
*Hint: For best results when applying mascara take nice long, SLOW strokes. You will get better coverage and more length...yes you will be surprised at how fast you might tend to go with that.

Cheeks: Blend in a nice pink, or peach blush through the apples of your cheeks (you can smile to help this)and blend out toward your hairline.
*Hint: If time allowed, try a bronzer before, or apply a base with some tint in it to start. This will give some extra sheen to those beautiful cheek bones.

Lips: Berry color lip stains always add some extra life to your color, and rose colors are always pretty too and flatter any skin tone. Add some gloss for extra shine if wanted.
*Hint: If using a lip liner always smudge with your pinkie finger to soften and not be left with a line when lipstick fades.

Whether you create a natural look

or go with a more dramatic look,

the goal is to feel like this....
