For the love of boots.

This is so me!!
This is so me!! by amanda correa featuring Alexis Bittar jewelry

OK, so I know that I have posted these Givenchy boots already, but I can't help but love them. Since I happened to run into them again, I decided to create an outfit, one of many, that I would wear with them. I wanted to share with you all that this is what I would be wearing today, if these lovely boots (along with these other pieces:) were via my closet right now!!

Hope you all are wearing something you love today.....and feel great in it!

Feel comfortable in your own skin.

I love this picture of Eva Mendez. While she, undoubtedly, looks beautiful, she also looks so confident and comfortable in her own skin. She always looks this way and I love that about her. She is not always one we see heavy in the spotlight, but when we do, she is strutin' her stuff...no matter what she is wearing! The confidence she exudes always shines through making her that much more attractive to the eye. There have actually been some fashion statements of hers that I have seen and probably would not have worn myself, but Eva wore it as though it were the hottest thing out there at the moment, making herself look amazing in it! That is being comfortable in your own skin!!

Always wear things that have you feeling that way. The more comfortable you are with how you look, and the more you feel good in your own skin, the more you are going to strut it = the more heads you will turn.... not that it is about that...right;)?

Blessings!!

The first time is the sweetest!

OK, so maybe the first time is the sweetest for certain things....this is one of them!! I have received my first blog award! A big thanks to Adrienne S. with mustardseedcollective for passing this award to me. I have to say, that it feels good to know that others really do check out your spot...you know sometimes you're not sure if you're the only one really reading and looking at some of the stuff you put up there. In any case, I am pretty excited and want to recommend you check out Miss Adrienne's blog. She has good taste with an excellent eye for style. It is definitely a blog that I check up on often. With that being said, I would now like to pass this award on to some other fellow bloggers, whom give me some inspiration, that I feel are kreative and well worth some extra recognition.

Picks of the week.

I thought I would post my 'picks of the week' with all men this week. Who doesn't love their man with a good sense of style? Here are some pics of stylin' men that usually step out looking well put together and showing a style of their own.

First things first...who doesn't love a man in uniform? Congrats Yankees!

Laid back, yet dressed to impress.

I always love the white shirt and jeans in general, but even more on men.

Ne-Yo always has a great style of his own, and he always looks so polished.

Like the longer coat with the casual wear.

A style that never seems to look bad.

I love when a man sports some jewelry.

Happy weekend to you all! May you all go for those things that you want. For you are never given a dream with out also being given evrything you need to have that dream realized.

Until Then.......

Think I got it?!

OK, I know that I have totally been changing my blog around, but now thanks to my fabulous sister, which you can see here davidfamadventure ,I think I finally got it...for now anyways:) I tend to be a little picky and she has done so well, her little creative self and all, in helping me with this project....project for me anyways! So, no more changes...fingers crossed!

Sleep Well Lovelies!!!

Dress to flatter your figure.

Good morning all you lovelies! I stumbled upon this video with some great tips about flattering your figure. Remind yourself that it is not the size on the tag that matters on your clothes, it's looking good and showing off your best assets in your clothes! Hope this helps any of you who might be struggling with finding the right fit.

How high is too high?

Thigh-High perhaps? This new trend is definitely one that has women thinking twice if it is a style that they want to wear.
These pictures make me want a pair! What about you? Is the thigh-high a little too high for you, or right up your style lane?

If the thigh-high boot does seem to be a little much for you, then try something a little less bold, like these over-the-knee boots. Still make a statement, but not quite as high and look fabulous with many outfits.

Guess, over the knee:$199.00

Two Lips, over-the -knee:$160.00

Colin Stuart,convertible:$149.00

Take a look at some of Hollywood stepping out in their own pairs of these statement boots, and see if it draws any inspiration to sport a pair of your own.

*Whether you choose to put a pair of these thigh-highs on, or sport a different fabulous style, remember that as long as you feel comfortable and confident with what you have on, then you are going to carry it off!
