Prints, Colors and.....CARGO.

So along with all of the brighter colors and prints we are seeing, and buying, Cargo wear has also made head way into this Springs attire. If I don't say so myself, VS has given me a new found love for Cargo wear and I want to pass that along to all of you. As always I like to post this stuff to give y'all some ideas and get those wheels turning for you as you begin to change out some of your seasonal wardrobe. I love looking through these catalogs because even if I don't buy from them, I always find something to look for on my next shopping trip, or I create a new look for myself from something I have seen. Picks of the Week.

So, many of you probably watched at least some ( by some I mean the Red Carpet) of the People's Choice Awards this past week and saw some of the lovelies in their gorgeous gowns....and not so gorgeous too! I think that many women, men too but more women who are not huge fashion lovers, like many of ourselves, still always look forward to the Red Carpet too. There is just something about seeing what some of those Hollywood beauties are going to wear, what they are going to do with their hair and make up and of course, who will still the show altogether.

While I didn't see the show, I have definitely seen the pics from this event all over the net, and therefore decided to post my top five picks, of the dresses (and just over all look) that most caught my eye.....enjoy!!!

Taraji looks so beautiful in this color and flow of the dress. The cinched waist looks fab with the one shoulder. It looks really comfy on your skin too!

Ginnifer Goodwin almost never disappoints me with her style sense. Love her pixie, and the dress looks fabulous on her....I would wear this one too.

Though her stance looks a little awkward in the pick (to me anyway), Sandra looks good in this length and cut. Nice style and good pick for this type of awards show.







This was my favorite dress on Miss Queen Latifa...she looks gorgeous!

This one that Demi Lavato is wearing is definitely something I would wear. Love the color, the length, the ruffles, and the bodice to show off her curves! She did a nice job with her statement necklace too.

Here are couple of runner ups for me....

Leah Michele looks great in the red, and I actually like that she kept it simple and went with out a necklace.

Carrie looks beautiful, and while the skirt of the dress is not necessarily my style, I am LOVING those heels!!!

Picks of the week.

I always like to throw some different styles in for my pics of the week. That's probably because that's more my personality. I like to switch it up quite a bit...dress to impress, simple dresses, boots (all styles..mostly), jackets, be down right comfy and I actually like a sporty style too! Here are some styles that I like for different reasons, and as usual, hope that these can give you some inspiration when going through your closets...or shopping! I am into the bomber/biker jackets and I like this casual look with it. Adds just enough to this simple style. * Something to remember: It's always fun to play your make-up, up, when wearing a simple look;)

I am one to usually opt for heels, but Gwyneth shows us that some cute flat boots still give some style (comfort too!) when in mommy mode.

This pic is obviously more about the purse than the outfit, and just wanted to show that a great tote is always needed no matter what the outfit....just makes everything better!!

I not only like the blazer with the skinny jeans that Gabrielle is sportin' , but also like the ruffles peeking out...makes it extra feminine.





I like this just for Keri's shirt...love the sleeves and the color.

Like the thigh-highs on Hayden, and the coat too.

Eva is another who's style never seems to disappoint me.
